EMP recently expanded its manufacturing footprint by acquiring RB Machine of Colorado Springs, Colorado as of July 1, 2015. This acquisition gives EMP additional contract manufacturing capacity, and also extends our market reach into the Aircraft and Aerospace Industries, by virtue of RB Machine’s customer concentration and their registration under the AS9100 Quality Standard. EMP is pleased to have RB Machine’s incumbent strength as a key supplier to the Aircraft and Aerospace markets, and we’re pleased to have this exciting new subsidiary as part of our portfolio. The Company employees 22 workers at the Colorado Springs location, and maintains an equipment portfolio of 13 mills and 7 lathes and other specialized equipment.
